  SCU is committed to building a safe, respectful, inclusive and diverse community and culture on campus.

  The Respect Matters module can be found in your information sites and helps all our students understand and explore:

  • Understanding gender-based violence and its impact

  • Consent, respect and healthy relationships

  • Supporting others and the bystander response

  • Addressing social drivers, discrimination, and cultural factors

  • Supporting safety online

  • Understanding racism, religious vilification, and antisemitism

  It also provides information for seeking support and reporting incidents.

  Respect Matters is mandatory for ALL students. To avoid restrictions, complete the module before June 19th, 2026. Find it in your MySCU>Information sites.
